Integration Suite | Excel Object Importer

You can import Excel or CSV files with this processor plug-in.

Settings in the “General” tab

Import Format

Select the import format:

Delimiter

This option is only available for the CSV import format.

Select the delimiter that your CSV file uses.

Enclosure

This option is only available for the CSV import format.

Select the enclosing characters that your CSV file uses.

Description
Import same data anyway	Activate this option to import the same data again.
Create new elements	Activate this option to allow the importer not only to modify existing objects, but also to create new objects.
Exclude on update	If required, select attributes that must not be overwritten by the importer.
Limit imported attributes	Specify the attributes you want to import: Import all: all attributes are importet Configure whitelist: define the attributes to be importet Configure blacklist: define the attributes not to be importet Import by tag: tag the attributes you want to impor tand select the tag here
Create temporary elements	Activate this option to allow the importer to create temporary objects. As soon as you activate the option, you can select a folder in which the temporary objects are to be created. Also enter the external key of the folder in the field below in order to be independent of IDs.
Clean-up classes	If required, select one or more classes that contain the attributes that are to be cleaned up prior to the import in order to reset values that no longer exist in the import file.
