Staging | Language-dependent values in tables

The SDZeCOM Rules+ must be licensed for this option.

Classic SAP example from MATMAS

The E1MAKTM table with the MAKTX attribute contains the product designation for each language. The table with the individual attributes and all rows is created automatically and displayed in Staging. You must now also retrieve the value from MAKTX on a language-dependent basis and copy it to the PIM.

Procedure

  1. Activate the language dependency on the Staging table attribute.

  2. Activate “Copy to PIM” and select your target attribute.

  3. There are two new fields for languages in the Contentserv settings: “ImportShortKey” and “ImportLongKey”. Enter the abbreviations from SAP there.

  4. Create a rule in the Rules studio for the attribute.
Operation plug-in: Check a field for a language
    Comparison value: ImportLongKey

  5. Activate the “Fill from table” option for the attribute.

  6. Select the table attribute and the individual attribute from the table as the source attribute.

  7. If several values in the table are to be copied into one attribute, enter the desired separator.

  8. Activate “Ignore early return”. This function prevents the search from being aborted after the first search result.

  9. Select your rule as filter rule.
