This allows PDFs or InDesign documents to be rendered automatically without the need for manual steps.
The solution creates a seamless connection between Centric PXM™, priint:comet, and the InDesign Server - for maximum efficiency in publication creation.

1. What is the SDZeCOM InDesign server connection for priint:comet?

This solution enables the direct integration of an external Adobe InDesign server into the Centric PXM™ cloud environment.
It allows for the automated rendering and generation of InDesign or PDF documents from data stored in Centric PXM™.

2. How does the solution work?

Centric PXM™ communicates indirectly with the external InDesign Server via a microservice.
This microservice runs on the same server as the InDesign Server and receives REST calls from Centric PXM™.
The data to be exported is transferred to the microservice, which in turn controls the priint:comet plugin in the InDesign Server.
The server renders the desired InDesign document or PDF and then transmits it back to Centric PXM™ DAM or to another defined storage location.
