SDZeCOM Rule

You can select a rule from the SDZeCOM Rules+ that must be fulfilled for the object to be copied to PIM.

Although the object is created when it is imported into Staging, it is not copied to PIM until the rule is fulfilled.

This procedure allows you to perform a quality check before an object is copied to PIM.

SDZeCOM Parent Rules

If no parent can be identified via PIM parent search value, PIM parent search field and PIM parent search attribute (see Properties – SDZeCOM Staging) and the objects are not to be moved to a general temp folder, they can be assigned based on rules.

You can create several rules that are checked one after the other. As soon as a rule is fulfilled, the result is used and the rule check is aborted. The object is assigned to its parent object according to the fulfilled rule in the PIM.

As soon as a parent has been determined via PIM parent search value, PIM parent search field and PIM parent search attribute, the settings in the parent rules are no longer considered.

The rule-based assignment can therefore be purely rule-based or complemented by a rule.
