Staging | Properties

In the “Properties” tab, you set the basic settings for the system behavior. As known from PIM, the created classes are added first.

If the XML file contains an “ExternalKey” attribute, its value is automatically entered in the “Designation” and “External key” fields. These values are then mapped against the objects in PIM. If a new object is created in PIM by Staging, this information is also entered there as the designation and external key.

The upper section of the property tab corresponds to the property tab in PIM.

The following sections are only available in the Studio.

Configure the fields to make specific settings for copying data to PIM. If they are configured on a parent node, the settings are adopted for all child elements.
