Integration Suite | CS Excel (CSV)
With this processor plug-in, you can import CSV files in a similar way to the simple Contentserv list import.
As with the simple list export, the CSV must contain the following columns:
_ImportAction: with the corresponding abbreviation for the action as values
PdmarticleID: with corresponding values (this is used to find the objects in CS)
However, the number of imported rows is not limited when using this plug-in. There is no memory limit. In addition, processing does not block other jobs.
As soon as you select the plug-in, all other options are set automatically. There are no further setting options.
You load your file manually into the context and process it as usual with a Single Worker or a Starter Worker combination. An object is created from each line, and the data is imported object by object. This also allows you to track the processing status of each individual line.
It is imperative that you wait until all objects have been created and have the status “Waiting” before processing the import!
Otherwise, not all objects can be imported. Alternatively, you can automate the active scripts and have them started automatically at certain intervals.
