Smart Docs+ | Footer

Create an object of the "Footer" type directly below the object of the "Footer section" type.

In this object, you can define contents for the left, middle and/or right section.

General options

Valid for

Decide whether the footer is to appear on all pages (no selection) or only on certain pages (first, all left, all right and/or last).

Element height (in mm)

Define the height of the footer in mm.

Stringfunctions (formulas) are evaluated and can be used as required.

Keywords:

  • [DATE]: The date is displayed in the format set in the data sheet configuration.

  • [PAGINATION]: Display of the current page and the total number of pages (e.g.: 2/4)

  • [CURRENTPAGE]: The current page

  • [PAGECOUNT]: The total number of pages

Width in %

Specify the width of the left section of the footer in %.

Make sure that you distribute the percentages in the left, middle and right sections in such a way that they add up to 100 %.

If the total is not 100 %, the left and, if necessary, the middle and right sections are shortened accordingly by the system.

Unless a value is entered, the left, middle and right areas are distributed evenly.

Select how the language values are to be separated from each other:

  • New line (default)

  • Slash

  • Slash without blanks

  • Pipe

  • No split

Vertical alignment

Define the vertical alignment:

  • Top

  • Middle

  • Bottom

The setting is inherited down to the objects below, unless you interrupt the inheritance by making a different setting on an object below.

Margins

Define the margin in mm in the following order, each separated by a space: top, right, bottom, left.

If you want to adopt the setting from the „Data sheet“ object, enter „inherit“.

Paddings

Define the padding in mm in the following order, each separated by a space: top, right, bottom, left.

If you want to adopt the setting from the „Data sheet“ object, enter „inherit“.

Don’t render element

If you activate this option, the element will be ignored when rendering the data sheet.

A small red cross on the icon of the object in the tree indicates that an element will not be rendered.
