Create an object of the "Section" type directly below the object of the "Main content" type.

These are structural objects. Further contents are defined below them.

Unlike, for example, in the header section, there are further configuration options.

Content

Field	Description
Indent	If required, define an indent for the element with a unit (e.g. pt. px, mm, em, ex, % etc.).

Headline

Field	Description
Headline	Enter a headline manually if required.
Headline display	As soon as you select one of the displays, the designation of the section is used as a subheadline. The formatting corresponds to the configuration of the corresponding headline level in the style used.
Append colon to headline	Activate this option to append a colon to the headline.

Select how the language values are to be separated from each other:

Layout

Field	Description
Column count	Define the number of columns The setting is inherited down to the objects below, unless you interrupt the inheritance by making a different setting on an object below.
Column display	You can choose from the following options: One child element per column Contents distributed evenly over columns Contents distributed over columns
Column distribution	Select the percentage column distribution for two to four columns from the distributions provided.
Column gap	Define the inner column gap. The setting is inherited down to the objects below, unless you interrupt the inheritance by making a different setting on an object below.
Vertical alignment	Define the vertical alignment: Top Middle Bottom The setting is inherited down to the objects below, unless you interrupt the inheritance by making a different setting on an object below.
Horizontal alignment	Define the horizontal alignment: Left Centered Right Justified The setting is inherited down to the objects below, unless you interrupt the inheritance by making a different setting on an object below.
Force page break	If you want to force a page break before or after the section, select the corresponding option. By default, no page break is forced.
Avoid page break inside	If you want to avoid a page break within the section, select „yes“. By default, page breaks are also produced within a section.
Margins	Define the margin in mm in the following order, each separated by a space: top, right, bottom, left. If you want to adopt the setting from the „Data sheet“ object, enter „inherit“.
Paddings	Define the padding in mm in the following order, each separated by a space: top, right, bottom, left. If you want to adopt the setting from the „Data sheet“ object, enter „inherit“.
Don’t render element	If you activate this option, the element will be ignored when rendering the data sheet. A small red cross on the icon of the object in the tree indicates that an element will not be rendered.

Replacement groups	If necessary, select replacement groups for string replacements.

Preview

Define preview options when they are supposed to deviate from those in the general style settings.

Preview preset	Select the preset you want to use for the preview.
Preview format*	Select the format you want to use for the preview.
Preview product	Available if the documents are generated from the PIM product tree. Select an object from the PIM product tree to be used for generating the example preview.
Preview channel object	Available if the documents are generated from a channel. Select an object from a channel to be used for generating the example preview.
