Create an object of the "Table of contents" type directly below the object of the "Main content" type.

In this object, you can configure a table of contents.

General options

Use headlines

Select the headline levels to be included in the table of contents.

Only use section headings

Activate this option to use section headlines only.

Remove trailing colon

Activate this option to remove a colon at the end of the headline if there is one.

Subchapter indent

Define an indent for the sub-chapters if required.

Leader

Define the fill characters between headline and page number:

  • dotted (default setting)

  • solid

  • none

Headline

Enter a headline manually if required.

Headline display

As soon as you select one of the displays, the designation of the section is used as a subheadline. The formatting corresponds to the configuration of the corresponding headline level in the style used.

Force page break

If you want to force a page break before or after the section, select the corresponding option. By default, no page break is forced.

Avoid page break inside

If you want to avoid a page break within the section, select „yes“. By default, page breaks are also produced within a section.

Margins

Define the margin in mm in the following order, each separated by a space: top, right, bottom, left.

If you want to adopt the setting from the „Data sheet“ object, enter „inherit“.

Paddings

Define the padding in mm in the following order, each separated by a space: top, right, bottom, left.

If you want to adopt the setting from the „Data sheet“ object, enter „inherit“.

Don’t render element

If you activate this option, the element will be ignored when rendering the data sheet.

A small red cross on the icon of the object in the tree indicates that an element will not be rendered.

Select an object from a channel to be used for generating the example preview.
