Asset Archive | Settings
All licensed volumes are listed in the Contentserv settings section under “SDZeCOM”.
You can make the following settings for each volume:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Archive Volume | Select another volume for the volume in which the assets are to be archived. When an asset is archived, the structure of the source volume is replicated in the target volume. The predecessor of the asset is stored there. A version number is appended to the file name as a suffix with “_v”. ExampleOriginal file name: 34567_Product_image.psd File name of the version: 34567_Product_image_v1.psd |
Archive Plugin | This field only appears if an archive volume is selected. If the SDZeCOM Rules are licensed, you can link the archiving to the fulfilment of a rule. The asset is only archived if the rule is fulfilled. Otherwise, only the DefaultSDZeCOMArchive plug-in is available. As soon as you have selected a plug-in, the other options appear. |
Archive State | If an asset is removed from the volume and dereferenced, select the status of the archived asset here. |
Version State | If required, select the status of the versioned or archived asset here. |
Filename Attribute | If you do not want to use “_v” as the suffix for the archived asset (see description of Archive Volume above), you can select your own DAM attribute here. For example, a formula attribute that outputs the date as YYYY_MM would be conceivable. |
Archive Rule | If the SDZeCOM Rules are licensed, select the rule that must be fulfilled for the asset to be archived. |
