Integration AI | LLM | Prompting in the Generic Docs Configurator

Please refer to the documentation pages of the individual modules for all details on the general handling of the Generic Docs Configurator.

For AI applications, the Generic Docs Configurator is used for capturing the (user) prompt. To do so, use either the “Formula” plug-in or the “Unformatted Text” plug-in.

Procedure

• Write the prompt in a mixture of plain text with clear instructions and functions such as ATTRVAL or REFVAL, among others, for transferring the product values from the PXM.

• Save the prompt.

• Further preparation takes place in the Smart Documents.

  • Create a preset with the following general settings:

    • Smart Template: Genericdoc

    • Renderer: Plain text

  • Select only your Generic Doc Template in the Template Options. No further settings are necessary at this point.
