Staging | Extract objects
With this option, you can create individual objects (e. g. parent objects) from attributes in the import file and store them in Staging.
These are usually reference objects, e.g. suppliers, manufacturers, licenses, certificates or similar. However, the function can also create products.
If the extracted object is copied as an independent import object in subsequent imports, Staging recognizes this and updates the object that has already been created.
Field | Description |
External key attribute | Select the Staging attribute to be used as the external key of the extracted object. It must not be an attribute that is copied to PIM! Otherwise, endless loops will be created. |
Label attribute | Select the Staging attribute to be used as the label of the extracted object. It must not be an attribute that is copied to PIM! Otherwise, endless loops will be created. |
Pick up attributes | Select the Staging attributes to be copied to the extracted object. |
Extract to folder | Select a folder in Staging in which the objects are to be created. This is a mandatory field. |
Extract by rule | Select a rule from the SDZeCOM Rules+ that must be fulfilled for objects to be extracted. The SDZeCOM Rules+ must be licensed for this option. We strongly recommend using this feature, as without a rule there is a high risk of creating endless loops. |
