Staging | Ignore in data model import

Activate this option for each attribute that you do not want to copy to PIM in the future.

This prevents you from having to decide again whether you want to copy the values of this attribute to PIM when you update the data model later on.

The advantages include that attributes really only need to be mapped once and can still be part of the export file from the source system. This also simplifies the interface configuration on the source system side and saves coordination effort.
